Join our mountain palette knife painting workshops. In these workshops you will:

LEARN to use palette knifes to create mountain textures
DEVELOP your palette knife painting skills
LAYOUT a compelling mountain landscape composition
CREATE a beautiful feature wall painting

Soft bodied acrylics, metallic paints, palette knives, palette, and brushes are provided. A basic kit of heavy bodied acrylics and a canvas are required for final finishing.

Part 1 - Compostition

In part 1, you will create an effective underpainting and composition for your piece. You will distinguish the shadows from the light.

Part 2 - Midtones

In part 2, you will develop your midtones and create effective highlights. You will learn to use your knives to create rock and snow textures.

Part 3 - Detail

In part 3, you will balance your tones and values, and learn methods to add finishing details including clouds, trees, reflections and more.
