Beginners Oil Painting Course

Join our oil painting course for beginners and discover the luxurious texture and malubility of oil. In these workshops you will:

Begin your journey as an oil painter!

LEVEL 1 - Colour Theory and Mixing

In level 1, you will learn about the oil paints, tools, mediums, and the supports available to artists. You will also come to understand colour theory, and learn an effective colour mixing method.

LEVEL 2 - Techniques I

In level 2, you will learn how to use a variety of wet and dry oil techniques to create a series of small paintings. You will learn how to use your tools to create a variety of textures in oil.

LEVEL 3 - Techniques II

In level 3, you will create a series of small oil paintings using impasto and palette knife painting techniques.
